DESCRIPTION

Causeway Easy Cut is a two component polyester putty metal filler, which is formulated for proper preparation of metal surfaces. It can be applied as a thick or thin layer. Specialties of this product are quick drying, easy sand ability, excellent adhesion and flexibility.

TYPICAL USES

  • Used for leveling of dented surfaces for automotive and machinery sector.

APPLICATION

  • Apply over primed surfaces with the provided applicator
  • Allow the putty to dry first before adding further layer of the putty for leveling.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

  • Remove any dust, oil and other contaminants that may affect its adhesive property.
  • Use Grade 400 abrasive paper to sand down the old surface if necessary.
  • Ensure that all loose old paint flakes are removed before any application of the putty.
  • Mix the 2 components thoroughly before applying.
  • Apply the putty before the pot-life is due.
  • Perform sanding only after the putty is fully dried.
  • Wash primer or etch primer should be applied on top of poly putty.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Always keep out of reach of children. Ensure good ventilation during application and drying. Do not smoke while applying. Highly flammable. Store in a cool dry place away from heat and sparks. Do not add the hardener mixed base to the tin. Hardener is toxic, if swallowed seek medical advice immediately.
